MUT celebrated Professor Rushiella Songca’s first 100 days as Interim Vice-Chancellor and Principal, highlighting a leadership approach centred on collaboration, engagement, and shared responsibility. The event featured contributions from members of the MUT Executive Management Committee, including Professor Sibusiso Chalufu and Professor Marcus Ramogale. Also present were Professor Mncedisi Maphalala, Professor Bhekisipho Twala, and Sipho Mgedez. The engagement reflected on MUT’s journey towards achieving the goals of IGNITE 2030, with a focus on strengthening research, advancing digital transformation, enhancing the student experience, and building strategic partnerships.
